Braille is a vital part of every student’s training at the Center. That’s because Braille is so strongly linked with successful employment for blind adults – whether they learned Braille as a child or as an adult. Our flexible program allows us to tailor Braille training to the student’s specific needs, ranging from beginning Braille to mathematical, music, and computer codes. Braille competence allows the student to reach his or her greatest potential and compete equally with sighted peers in vocational training, college, and in the workplace.
